The Louisville Film Society was established in 2007 to enrich our community by exhibiting independent, classic, experimental, and international cinema in the Greater Louisville area. These films and filmmakers bring us new, innovative, and sometimes challenging perspectives through creative and educational film programming.
Throughout the year, LFS programs various events including screenings, workshops, parties and industry get togethers to strengthen the creative community and the bond with its audience. It is our hope that LFS will continue to elevate this vision to new heights, providing the foundation for an organization that will ultimately become a vital component of Louisville’s cultural landscape and have a meaningful economic impact for many local businesses.
